First off, I want to say that I am NOT gloating at the expense of the Red Sox fans (I like the Red Sox, actually), but maybe this year we will be able to throw off our even longer 'curse' and championship drought. Right now the White Sox are playing so well it is almost frightening.
Now for the first time in 42 years I find myself actually rooting for the Yankees. I think the White Sox match up better against the Yankees than against the Angels. The only other time I rooted for the damn Yankees was in 1963, and that was because I was pissed off at the Dodgers because of the 1959 world series.
