You know how Lindelof & Cuse could REALLY get us all confused? Have Jack die on the island from apendecitis. Then we'd all be like "WTF, he's one of the Oceanic 6!"
That would be some serious time warping stuff there.

anyone else notice the settings of ben's camera??
f6.7 and 1/90.... he is going to have some visable camera shake in those shots!!

she might actually have an m.d., but she's a medical research chemist at best.
she's certainly not a surgeon...

| Alex died :( :( I am so bummed out.....she (the character obviously) deserved more than to be shot execution style after seeing your mom and BF die AND hearing your father denouncing you (although I do know it was his attempt to save her)...How unfair!!! although, I guess this is the fuel behind Ben's apparent revenge mission he has going on with Sayid |

Given what Ben said about the mercenary history of the guy that shot
Alex execution style (and yes that made me sick to my stomach)I would say that the chances of them having left Danielle there shot and not dead are extremely slim to none. We saw Danielle shot (very unhappy about that too) and we know they came and got Alex after she surrendered. I think they would have definately made sure both Carl and Danielle were dead.
On a side note just to make this thread a little lighter - the show will end and this thread will end when we get to page 108:-) |

| Is it me, or is Ben starting to become quite likable? As much as he is an obsessive about the Island, maybe he really does have the interests of the human race at heart, Now Jim Robinson seems to be the one to be on the look out for.. |

Uh? The things he said right before they executed Alex were terrible, un-human, even if that was his "attempt" to save her. Living with the thought his own daughter died while he said she wasn't and didn't care for her... No, that's not quite likeable.
Whitmore changed the rules, he said. I think the rule was to keep off of family.

But as he said, once they had him captive, they would of killed everyone else on the Island, maybe he made the ultimate sacrifice and saved a lot of people in the process. |

true, we don't know for sure she is dead, but when alex had the gun to her head and she was talking to ben on the walkie she said that they had killed karl and her mother, rousseau MAY not be dead, but it seems alex thought she was |

Maybe Claire was part of the island from the beginning?? Maybe she DID die during the explosion... But Christian said the baby is "where he belongs" I guess the baby wasnt meant to be with Claire (like the psychic said)

Either JJ Abrams or the writers or someone has promised that they aren't all dead. I know it's a popular theory, but I don't think it's going to be true.

but we know that dead people come alive on the island ie... jacks dad, Horace, etc...
So if Claire died in the explosion, she is dead, but alive on the island.
What was the deal with the seen with John as a child and Alpert, and John picked the knife... then Alpert stormed out. What did that mean?
