I took the little rug-rat out fishing for the first time tonight. And by NO means am I a fisherman. But no-one got injured, and Gracie actually caught 2 fish! I was just excited about it because its one of those days that we'll never forget. Although after she pulled them out of the water she didn't want to be near them. Its understandable. Sorry about the pics quality, but between the fish slime and the worm dirt, I really didn't want to mess around too much with my camera. But thanks for letting me share. Hopefully it brings back some memories of your own! Peace out, B

Brian, tell her congratulations for me! Relatively speaking, that's the equivalent of an adult catching a good size shark!

It's a lovely series of captures of a special moment. She'll (and you will) love looking back at these when she's older.

And on a similar note, cherish these beautiful moments of wonder: in not too long, she'll be a teenager. ;)

Thanks for posting these. You will treasure these in the future. They do bring back memories.
My sister tried and tried to catch a fish for the longest time. She finally did. She was holding a cherry charm candy and a fish jumped out of the water for it and she caught the fish but dropped the candy! Boy, I can still remember that so clearly. It was so long ago.
