| Hey, I made a mistake, and forgot to change the date on my camera when I had the batts. out for a long period. How can I edit the photo files to put in the correct date? |

Oops...sorry, you can't do that. Legally, anyway. You'll have to reshoot I'm afraid. :/

| Legally I don't care about. I just want to know if there is a way, I can't really reshoot these pictures, they were of a time and place, and for personal uses. Any one know of anyway to do this. |

You could just put the date in the name of the file folder where they are stored under, or even in the file name of each photo.

| There are exif editors that will allow you to batch update the exif info on the files. Do a quick search, as I have never used one, so can't recommend a specific tool. But, there is hope. |

I used to have Exifer. It's a program in English from a German Author. It's 'postcardware', if you send the author a postcard, you can click the register button :) Works without registering as well.
You can change any time related EXIF data, and some more. Be careful about that! You don't want to accidentally make originals 'illegal' for DPC validation when just wishing to rename them.
