I live in Iceland and i see this very often. When you witness this beuty you will be stunned. You can sit on the snow even if your but is allready frozen to the ground, just so you can watch the nature talk to us. No words can describe this

Those are the coolest photos. I want to go over there now. What an opportunity to see such beauty.

This is a beautiful phenomenon, captured beautifully by good photography! Wow!

In school, we always see these aurora's in fast motion, or do they move around quickly? When northern lights are seen in Utah (rarely), they are usually rather static.

Those pictures are really great. Nothing like nature's show to spellbind us...thanks for sharing.
What I like about them most is that they're other-worldly. Like you feel you're on Saturn or someplace like that. I imagine the lighting is like no other experienced before, and I would love to know the exposure settings and how Sigurdur shot them....And what WB settings he used.
