Greetings to the SC/Admins...

Please consider evaluating challenge topics where title suggestions/requirements are part of the topic. I believe this limits creativity. I just think it's fundamentally wrong to put requirements on the title of the submitted images.

I think it narrows the field a little but perhaps make 1 in 5 a manditory title. This would allow for almost a free study since they aren't doing that either.

I don't believe it limits creativity, especially of the image. It does damper the title, and sometimes this is a good thing. Think of it as part of the assignment (challenge). The 'Greeting Card' challenge is a good example. More about this title controversy: Greeting Card. Here come the title issues...

I still think we should have a 'No Title' challenge where challenge subject/theme is given as usual, but let the image speak for itself.

I've certainly used a creative title at times to garner a smile or two, but I'm not opposed to putting parameters on the titles occasionally.
