My entry:

Outtakes from the same session:

Would any of the outtakes have been a better choice? I was never really sure I picked the right photo for the challenge (not that I'm not satisfied with the result).

I was really excited with how my entry did...

But had had a difficult time deciding among these as well...

The first I was afraid suffered from the small canvas size. You could not really get details like the dollar being held up to buy a ticket, or the tiptoes.

I liked the second, but ultimately went with the one where there was more of a foreground subject.

DrAchoo,
your entry was really the best of the three. However, if in your other railroad shot the boy was a bit closer to the camera, i'd prefer that one. As it is, the head and the sack are superimposed with the bridge whiuch is not good for the composition.

Here is my entry

and the outtake

The perspective in the outtake is I think more dramatic, but it was shot in the middle of the day and the light was very harsh. I had to reshoot it, and couldn't re-create the perspective with the sun rapidly setting...

The funny thing is that several comments suggested that my model looks like George Bush, which is probably true here. It was not intentional, though, and my friend Alex (the model) actually was a bit upset by the comparision :).
