How can I get my images to the proper size for entering in a challenge? My images are about 715kb straight from the camera (olympus 550z)

What software are you using now to size them? |

step 1 - post process your image at full size
step 2 - image/resize and set your long side to the desired pixel length
step 3 - file/save as or file/save for web

if this helps .. an image thats cropped to 640 x 480 equals to 6.667 inches x 8.889 inches ... but then when you are saving the image at that size just make sure the quality is just under 150kb

Just so you know...
It is generally frowned upon to tell people which photo is yours, especially before voting even starts. If feel you need to tell some one, do so privately not in the public forums.
Thanks,
Fiver =o)

It is not a great idea to tell which photo is your before the voting is over. If possible, I'd suggest changing your title, and editing this post so that it does not include your photo title. A lot of people really look down upon discussing specific entries, and may mark you down only because of this. While it's not a written rule, it is against the etiquette of the site. Thanks.
