Hi all - I've got this shot taken at a recent wedding, only I completely messed up the expousure, had just been taking shots in bright sunlight and forgot to check my settings before I clicked away. Anyway, can anyone help to save this shot?

That can't be saved without producing a very poor image.

This is the best I could do... perhaps b/w and a nice border?

This is my attempt using Shadow/Highlight in PS and then cropping, dodging and burning. Image looks grainy but you may get better results working from the original

If you have the original, it could be fixed to perfection.
This was about a 2 minute edit, adjusting levels, shadow/highlight, minor noise reduction in CS2, smart sharpen in Labcolor, then selective blurring manually to smooth darker areas such as the paint on the car and his pants. Light painting over her skin and again manual blurring of her skin. Amazing what can be pulled out of an image so long as it is not over-exposed and blown-out.
Dust bunnies be gone too.

That looks amazing. I have the original - can you give me some detail on how to do that?

Richard.
