I have a couple of shots where the highlights are just too hot...
Does anyone have any tricks to reduce the impact of the overly hot (almost blown) highlights |

This tutorial is good for that. I made a couple of Photoshop actions to run the steps automatically. I don't think it would be legal in Basic.
You can use just the "Highlight" portion of the actions, which I often do.

That's a neat tutorial. Does anyone know how to do this in the GIMP? |
