I have a problem. I've been trying to print the various pictures in this gallery here.
For the majority of the flower shots, if I try to print using a commercial lab (e.g., frontier, fuji machines etc) about 75% of the colours are out of the printer gamut. This is even when I convert the pictures on low saturation settings.
I'm a bit lost as to how to best adjust the pictures to fit within the colour gamut. Any attempts I've made have resulted in fairly anaemic looking final prints.
I have had great results using an Epson inkjet printer with dye based inks (wider gamut) but any suggestions would be really helpful.
I have tried the various rendering intents and although some make things worse (particularly the direct mapping absolute colourmetric) none seem to improve on relative colourmetric or perceptual. I always have large chunks of the shot out of range and clipped.

Thank you for the link. I should have mentioned that I'm using the profiles from drycreek photo and those are the ones I'm having the gamut issues with.
I've used them without problems in the past, it is just all of the colours in these images are really saturated and also in hues were these printers have problems anyway. I'm just not sure how best to adjust the image back into the gamut, without ruining the final result.
Most articles talk about having to make a 'minor tweak' to adjust for this sort of thing - it just isn't true in these cases unfortunatly.
