I agree. It has been a while and the challenges are not appealing to me, but I have an itching to feel rejected and badly about my photography skills again so I should enter a challenge soon.
Of course usually when a thread like this pops up then the chances of a free study are less likely as it is then seen as predictable or something.
Damned if you do, damned if you dont :( |

Quick! Change the title of the thread to "Let's study Free stuff" then maybe it will seem more like a subliminal type thingy and nobody will be the wiser except for the few of us. ;-D

Hell every challenge is a free study. Enter what you want.....it may not score well but what the heck...

Anticipating the response from SC...
just because people want it doesn't mean we have to provide it.
You should count yourselves lucky you have 2 challenges a week already.
Where's the challenge in displaying your best photography? How on earth would that benefit DPC?

And the time honored, "If we give a free study when it's asked for, or if it's a set free study, people can cheat. By changing date info in the camera before hand."
Oh wait, I'm not supposed to say that out loud or something :)
