I was just wondering if anybody has come across any good photography books. Im looking for more like a lay-man terms type of book, I'd like to steer clear of the highly technical stuff. I only say that because most of the time the highly technical books require a highly technical camera, which I don't have. But if anybody has come across, or are in possession of a good one I would love to hear your suggestions. |

The "Joy of Photography" books from Kodak are pretty good for a really basic start.

| "Learning to See Creatively" by Bryan Peterson is one of my favorites. Doesn't matter what kind of camera you have. Available through Barnes & Noble---and probably other bookstores. |

| The .Freeman Patterson series is also pretty good. Does not focus on the camera, but more the photographer |

Always found books by a guy called Busselle to be good, I think his first name is Micheal. Usually loads of images and something I like is that he shows the exposure details next to the image so you can see what settings he used.
Gotta say, pay a visit to a library, photography books cost a wedge of casg these days. I have read at least 20 photography books and never paid for one of them (except for overdue fines LOL)
