Actually I am going for a tour in next week. There is a sea beach. My question is:

Is sea beach̢۪s salty weather is harmful for my camera or not? If yes what are the precautions those I have to take?

Thanks friends.

yes it is - salt is corrosive, and within a mile of the shore floating around in the air. you'll also find that the salt spray will coat your lens. don't change lenses outside. use a UV filter so the good glass doesnt get coated with salt. don't get walloped by a wave.

then there is the sand...

i was at the beach for about a week this summer with my camera for a couple of hours at time.

the only problem I had was condensation and sand. sand can find its way into anything...especially those CF slots...be careful

Everytime I take my camera to the beach.... I have it cleaned right after I get home...

One precaution you should take is to let your camera acclimate to the outdoor temperature before you take it out of the bag. After the camera has been inside in air conditioning for a few hours, water will condense on the lens as soon as you take it out of the bag in a warm and humid environment. This 'fog' will cause dust to stick to the glass.
