Okay...so my dad's on Oahu taking pics for his website, and BAM! His trusted Olympus dies (r.i.p.). So, without consulting anyone, he goes and buys a new one. A Canon Powershot S2 SIS. Funny, tho, I couldn't find it in the dpc database.
Does anyone have this camera? Is it any good?

dude, it looks exactly like my fujifilm! That's........interesting. Well, atleast if it's any good I can switch it for mine. He probably won't even notice ;-)

| I am interested in buying an Canon Powershot S2. I have researched it a bit, and it seems like good bang for your buck. I just havent found the 475 bux for one yet. So hey if you don't like it, give me a shout out. |

This sounds so like a daughter - dad buys a new camera and suddenly it's hers!
Reminds me of when our daughter wrecked our car, the insurance cheque was mistakenly written out to her and she cashed it!!!

Of course, you're all missing the implication of Annah getting her hands on this camera.... Moving from a 6x zoom camera to an image-stabilised 12x zoom, and from 3Mp to 5Mp.

The thought of Annah with more power to her punch sounds like bad news for the rest of us! :-) She's consistently knocking 'em dead IMHO, so I'm DOOMED! LOL There are some really amazingly talented young people on here and Annah is certainly near the top of the list!
