I think that you are right, looking at their web site, Bike's or Horses are OK but no ATV's. And I thought that I could finaly use the thing.

I had fun, Cindee had fun and Katie had fun right up 'til the end. She passed out about 10 minutes down the road. I, thanks to a wonderful wife, only held out for 5 minutes before dozing.

The only image I have edited so far is the group 'cause I figured everyone might be interested. Please keep in mind that my intent was to give everyone a little tan here in November and that's why the flash was dialed up at full power. Next time, I'm just gonna go with Jen's flash when she offers it.

It was great and I hope we can get another one setup before too long.

Thanks for taking a lead on this one, James & Jen.

What a perfect day!! Great Weather, fun folks and good food not to mention a pretty stellar location. Thanks for showing us around James! Since you did such a great job picking out this place, you can be in charge of the next one too! :-)

And Kevin, since you seemed to conveniently leave yourself out of the group shot I thought I'd throw this one up. :-)

And look at the sky you guys missed after you all left. James and I were heading back to the cars and there it was. Pretty cool!

I've only got to work on a few (way too many to go through tonight). Here's what I've got so far. No. Georgia GTG I'll try to post some more over the next few days. Thanks again everyone, for a fun time! :-)

I got a few quick edits up. I think I have one for the Free Study I would like to use but I will be adding more to this collection once I decide which one I am using.

Just added a couple more...
...

And I also will never have to ask what PBR means ever again, as it's been emblazoned into my brain thanks to the astonished stares I recieved upon asking such a question. I've been schooled. :-)

Ahh, Jen. Sorry for the stupified look. I should have been more understanding. Did you ever get that its for Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Cheap, cheap, super-cheapo bear. I just remember the guys at the clubhouse drank it while they played cards when I was younger.

Anyway, DAAAAAANG, girl. You are seriously making some awesome art. I wish they had another level for "Favorite Favorites" or something. Between the shots you compose and the editing you do you have really stepped your game up by a TON over the last 6 months or so. Beautiful photos.

Jen,

Maybe you should be in charge of the next one. We can do have a GTG in your neck of the woods.

Find the city you are closest to:

Hey guys, thank you for a fun day. It was great to meet all of you and spend some time learing how others look at the same subject. Next time I'll bring my right memory card and maby I can take some more pictures. Looks like it pays off to wait some times, very dramatic sky pictures after I left. Rex maby I can use that picture of me in my profile instad of the old hat picture. :) Posted some of the few shoots that I had.

Very nice work Tim. You can use that image if you want. If you want tohe original just pm me where to send it to but if you are just going to use it for a profile pic then you should be fine pulling that one of the web. I am glad you made it and it was a blast.

My turn. Finally got to work on a few.

. . .

Thanks again, James, for the use of your camera. Maybe next time we get together (spring?) I'll have upgraded from a P&S.

A few more for you all. More to come:

Very nice work Rex and Elemess, I guess I still have a lot to learn. Rex did you use Virtual Photographer fileter to convert to sepia? You should have entered the center picture into the "even" contest. I had a two chair picture, It did OK, but I was amased and amused by what people cretic on. One told me that I should have raked the leaves and the other found an orange spot, that I do not know what it is. Anway, I love the bridge, fantastic shoot. Elemess, I love the picture you shoot of Kevin, was that at the end near the swan? By the way, I found my 1GB card - I had it all along, it was in the bag under a A/V cable - ugrrr.

I'm sorry I missed this one guys/girls. I had planned on being there, but my boss said he couldn't give me the day off after all. Of course working in retail means I don't get days off right now, but I'm def. looking forward to helping put together another meet after January. That's when most of my life should return to normal. =0)

Now there is an idea.
