Are you talking about Adobe Photo Elements? From what I understand it is a stream lined version of Photoshop, aimed at those of us who do not have thousands of dollars to spend on an image editing package. It can do a lot of the stuff that Photoshop can.

there is a very excellent book out there with the same name, and it also has some secrets. Also there is one called Hidden Powers of PSE2. good place to start.

From what I have seen the 'Hidden Powers' book comes with some very useful plugins on CD.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. I purchased Photoshop Elements today and have it installed and instruction book came with it
will have to play around with it .
