No comments. I thought for sure I'd get a bunch of "I hate the color" comments... :D

well...i happen to like the blues and yellows together. i just cant decide if i like the "noise" or not. it adds something to the photo but i am curious what it would look like with out noise too. :o)

Thanks guys. I wish I could find the original to rescan it. This little girl is probably driving by now!

I think I could do without the color cast, but that's a great shot!! |

I like it just the way it is.

This is immensely appealing. I'm not against the color cast per se but I do wonder how it would look if the skin tones themselves were shifted a little bit away from the blue range. I'm a little bothered by the extreme blow-out on the fingers, though it doesn't bother me on the shoulder. I like the grain a lot.
From one Ward to another :-)

Brent I like it but let me ask:
What was this scanned from and how old was the shot?
Are the color tones from the original?
What did you do to it in Photoshop?

Here's a shot at what I'm talking about. I didn't take the time to do this "perfectly", but I selected for the skin and then did a selective color removal of some cyan from that selection in the neutrals range. This, to me, is a little more pleasing.

Here is the original I started with.
It's the only version I have on file to play with.

It was a 6x7 negative scanned in about5 years ago of a shot that is about 8 years old.
I used a cross processing action in photoshop.
