A nice addition to this website would be a list of links to popular digital photo websites and information related to digital photography. There are lots of sites out there and this list should be categorized by subject...

You may be able to get some sponsors from manufacturers and retail outlets if you link to them... just a thought...

They give a good brief overview of lots of different digital related topics. It might be a place to redirect some of the basic how to style questions. Though sometimes I have the impression that the new 'I want it now mentality' has caused people to forget how to read.
Unfortunately, occasionally, Ive fallen victum to it myself.

G'ahead and start posting links here that you think are invaluable to our users. The links page has also been one we've been meaning to get up.
Note: We're going to try to be somewhat selective on this page, so it doesn't become a link dump. Sites that offer something unique to users will likely be added. We also don't want to get into the practice of trading links -- what can I say... we're suckers for honesty.

There have been 2-3 extensive threads similar to this, where people had posted many many links to useful photography sites. Can someone find and post links to those threads in this thread so we don't duplicate effort/lose old info.
Other things to search for are links to book recommendations, copyright info, storage/hosting/gallery sites, printing sites, tutorials.
Maybe SC members can quickly screen suggested links and copy them to a new thread, from where D+L can transfer them to the actual links page. |
