Either the Pentax-FA 50mm f1.4 or the Pentax-FA 77mm f1.9 limited.
Favorite aftermarket lens is the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8.

And the lowest of the 15 is a 6.4, quite a record for the lens and Gringo, WTG.

I'm already on record in this thread with "loving" my 10-22mm most of all, and that still holds. But it's "nothing but wide", and the 28-75mm is more versatile day ina nd day out, so it's one I use more...
If you forced me at gunpoint to keep only one lens for this camera, I'd keep the 10-22...
You are on record Bear, it's your pics that sold us on Canon and particularly the 10-22 - if I can get out of it half of what you can, I'll be very happy indeed. Now my wife knows whose head to hunt for "creative new ways to spend lots of money". She's really actually into photography, and also always wanted an SLR, but she's a little (read a lot) more sensible than I am. Seriously though bear you're an inspiration mate. |

That's funny I thought lots of people would be saying long primes, but I guess not. Maybe the price has something to do with it. |

Long primes are amazing bits of kit, but not likely to be a favourite for anyone unless it's the only lens they own!
Unless all you do is shoot sports and birds long primes are just another way to lighten your wallet.

Or at least long end zooms - 100-300 or ones like that. |

Mine too! That could almost be a picture of my setup (right down to the Really Right Stuff L-bracket, which totally rocks!)... except I use an Op/Tech Pro Loop Strap. |

Especially with the crop factor I doubt I'll want much more than a 200mm lens. |

What about specialty lenses - fisheyes, tilt shifts, etc.? |
