Hi all! I need to decide between these two photos for my heart gallery submission, and I was hoping one or more of you could help me decide. my personal fav is the close up of his face, but my husband likes the full body shot.
any advice would be much appreciated! thanks in advance!!!

| I like the Bokeh of the second but the expression of the first. Can you close crop the upper body in the first and see if you like that? |

By far the first one.....full body. Just the fact that he is looking at the camera make the photo much more enjoyable IMO.

I like the first one although it is a bit dark on my screen, the colors are more punchy than the second. The second one is lovely but looks a bit contrived and could maybe do with a bit more contrast, but nonetheless it is cute, impish look there!!

First one for me! Both are lovely shots but I don't like the crop on the close up although his expression is lovely.
Very photogenic young man!

Hmmm, the colors are very nice in the first one and it's nicely composed. The background seems a little distrating to me (but that's just me) But the second one has a definite feeling to it, good personality, but lacks the color contrasts that the first one has. Tough call, but I'd probably go with the close up if it were me.

| Okay...you have all helped me decide to submit the full body pose -- thank you!!! i've been so indecisive on these two shots (they were taken last week, and i've literally been stuck on them!). THANKS again! |

| first one is better as it is now. but the very bright background is distracting to me. The second one however, has the potential to be the winner, if you can fix it in photoshop, such as brighten his skin, correct his skin tone and dodge his eyes etc. |

I'd definetly go with close up. The first is nice but I'm not to fond of the centered composition and in my opinion it could more easily be labeled a 'snap shot'. The expression of the second is hard to beat. Tough choice you got on your hands, hope I confused you more ;)

Definitely the second one. It is more easy on the eyes and is more personal. To me the first one has a background problem being that it's too distracting.
