Hey all. I finally signed up as a member and I've been adding stuff to my portfolio. I'm eager to get some feedback and suggestions on how to prepare stuff for prints for matting purposes. If anyone has the time it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi I liked 'alone in the blue' and 'bobbing ancient' really a lot.
The utah sunset did not grab me at all. like 'ok an other sunset with the horizon line in the middle'.

I like the concept of 'almost gone painting', do you have a little more of the animal on the right side ? it feels a little 'cut' to me but I love the concept and the realisation.

I like a lot your 'enjoy your life outside the box' photo but I never like titles like this, but that's me only and t distract me from the photo. I wished the message would be more 'subtile' and not as BIG (it makes me thing about those TEAM WORK poster that are sold for offices with a big message). But I like that shot really a lot.

While I was at it , I thought I would be direct ;-)
But that's me only!

please, continue being direct. That was the most excellent feedback! Glad you liked some of the stuff, and I agree with you about most of your comments.

I'm going to be taking the sunset shot off. It does very little for me either, it's just the most recent picture I've taken while driving across country from NY to Cali in 45 hours, so I was just playing with it.

The almost gone painting was a watercolor of my almost gone submission to the yellow challenge. The cut is intentional. I would love to have one that was not so cut as well, but unfortunately I don't.

lol. That's what I was thinking about the title for "enjoy life outside the box as well." SUCEED, INTEGRITY, etc... but this is a more interesting message. I don't know why I put it on there. I guess it just seemed too depressing a print to put on my wall without the message. People would just think I was either really depressed or I loved caged animals. Not sure what to do about it though.

Glad you liked bobbing ancients especially. I didn't think anyone else would like it and I almost hid it.
