I just thought I'd drop a quick line about what I feel is something we sometimes overlook on DPC. A lot of the time the forums are ablaze with arguments, borderline flame wars, defensive egos and righteous indignation. I would like to remind people, particularly the newbies that may feel a little self-conscious about participating here on DPC that almost all the people on this site are good and honorable people. People like Mark Simms. I cannot help but be impressed by someone who can win last weeks challenge and yet say they would be honored to have taken second place to another photo. His graciousness and generosity is inspiring and I believe an accurate look into the true spirit of DPC. Most of the people I've encountered on DPC seem to have Mark's spirit and I would like people to remember this. I am honored and proud to participate with such people.

I'll second that thought.

You're right, Seeker. Too much honorable, generous, and kind behavior on here is ignored. I'm so sick of the constant complaints and stupid arguments that my participation here is down dramatically from what it was. I rarely post in the forums. I haven't submitted a photo in weeks. Sometimes I got days without even getting on. There are a lot of great people on here. Sometimes that gets lost.
