Very interesting...But what I found to be the most amusing was the fact that Ansel Adam experts missed the color photograph by him. Just shows how much post processing was done to his work.

Nice try, smartypantses...I saw Ansel at a party that night in Montreal and he was whining that his camera was still backordered from Dell. |

If you can't make ut to Yosemite, come to Boston. You might see the real photograph if not the real moon. |

Interestingly, we've used a (very) crude version of this line of investigation to try to rule in/out whether a shot was within the realm of "possible" during the EXIF date/time. As I recall, it was not conclusive, however...
