These pictures where taken this last weekend at Ratray Marsh in Toronto. Bird came out of nowhere and these are the only few good shots I got. Taken with 20D and 100-400 IS about 7:30am Sunday morning.

I like the top photo better... it shows the infamous neck of the crane while he is still in flight. The bright blue sky might be a bit much but the focus on the bird is amazing! Great capture.

I really didn't do anything with the sky. I added a tiny bit of saturation to the whole picture but thats it.

I'm pretty sure that that is not a crane. Looks to me to be a Great Egret. |

You are correct it is a great Egret during it's migration to lower US I think. |
