Hi.
I just took this picture today and I wanted to get some feedback. Both pictures come from the same one. Which one do you like better? All feedback is welcome!

To be perfectly honest, I like the colored one on the right better. However, I think that the image lacks in sharp focus. It's quite blurry, and the faces of the ducks aren't very clear. I'd like to see them closer up, in better detail.
With some sharper focus, it would be an ok 'group photo', but as is, it doesn't really hold my attention.
Hope this helps.

in term of color, the right on the right ins the best , no question. Duotones ot tritones, like B&W accentuates shapes , pattern and contrast and I do not think it's valuable in that case. |

I agree with Heather. I prefer the photo on the right but they appear a little soft at this viewing size. It is difficult to fully critique such small images. One problem I have with the photo is that the group of ducks in the lower right are crowding that corner, especially when they are heading in that direction. Was that how you cropped the photo with your camera or are you able to allow for some more room on the right side? To be honest (and that is what you are asking) there is nothing that really grabs me in this photo. It is a nice picture of ducks but fairly ordinary. I would prefer to see some interaction of the ducks or more of their environment besides just water. Here's a real challenge: try to capture a duck either landing or taking off. that usually happens the moment I put my camera down or looking at something else : )
