Hi all
I'm back from a great time in FLorida doing the usual theme parks plus as much nature as I could cram in between. No web connection in our villa though, so no access to challenges (and Rain is one I may just have entered!). Managed to spot a gator and numerous lizards & frogs, but the weather was what I liked most for it's sheer dynamism and variety. Here are a few shots so far but my portfolio limit is maxed so I'll have to be picky with the rest!

awesome shots!
i miss florida, there was always somethign to take a picture of there, the florida sky never ceases to amaze me

Great Photo, I'm from central Florida, and it's really cool to be able to see it though some one else! No theme park shots

Since I moved here just over a year ago, my camera hasn't had a moment to rest. But I think this would score high on my "Favorite Florida" list.

| What a photo, that I big gator. We have a 13 foot gator in a my town, Lake Howard. Really love the color in your picture. I have lived here my entire life(as short as that is), and i still find some thing to phot everyday. I really need to become a member so i can post pics |

dinsey gets old after a few visits
Universal sucked a few years ago, But now they have Island of Adventures
Very cool
Busch Gardens pretty cool, but if you have done it once, then well...
Cypress Gardens.... I would like to hear some one else comments on that?

I find something new every day too! Love just driving around random directions on the weekend and finding fun things to shoot at. *SatNav in the car saves my life!!* I encourage everyone to throw the camera in the car and find a country road. Even in a place you've lived all your life, you can always find something new.
And... Fetor is right, the theme parks are fun once... then they get old! lol (I'm not fond of large crowds, so stick to suburban Florida).

| No, thought I was close enough to catch it from home last launch (few weeks ago), but didn't get squat! Have heard the press area at NASA is a nightmare during launch, but may try for it next time anyway. Dying to shoot a launch! |

Yeah I've heard the same. I would really like to be there for a night launch, but they don't do that very often. As a matter of fact i'm not sure they do it at all anymore,
But any one ever been to Cypress Gardens?

also.. just got back from busch gardens this weekend.. that new Shiekra ride (90 degree face first drop) is fantastic.
