Took a few pictures yesterday for the live music challenge.
Spent a couple of hours last night editing a few versions. Got on i was happy with worked on it for a while longer. Uploaded to the site. All the world is rosy.
Went to work today and a fellow DPCer (Tallbloke) was editing his picture. I wasn't looking at it, as we try not to, so that the voting between us is fair. As he was finishing his edit he said "i wish i could clone out that *****". This is when i realised that live music is a basic editing challenge, and my subbmission is far from basic editing, lots of cloning of marks, dust etc.
So back to the drawing board.
LOL, i have been DQ'd twice before by not being able to tell the difference between basic editing and not. NOT THIS TIME, ALTHOUGH IT WAS VERY CLOSE.
See you in a while after i've re edited.

OK, all RE-edited. It's so much faster in basic editing :)
Now, to bomb tomorrow in the voting.
Good luck to all.

I did the same thing, but in opposite. I submitted a basic edit to an advance edit challenge. It is really frustrating because my score is a bomb.. lol

Gotta pay attention! :)

I love the basic challenges as my editing skills are a bit pants.
I normally only do basic editing for all the challenges, but my two DQ's are from the inability to read the rules.
And yes, i have also not edited in an advanced challenge when i would have liked to.
Gotta learn to read...
