I would like to know how you are protecting your cameras when shooting in the rain/snow/fog. I would appreciate all great (inexpensive) suggestions. Thanks, Jo Ann

Fog isn't a big issue unless it's prolonged exposure... I use an umbrella in the rain :)

I have actually seen some interesting configurations of umbrella attachments for tripods... I need to try that one myself :)

I have been wanting to get one of these kind of camera bags --cheap and seems like they wold be cool to have--not for underwater but just for drizzle or snow...etc.

I use a heavy Zip-Lock bag with a hole slightly smaller than the inside thread of the UV filter, the better the seal between filter ring, bag and camers body the better. Vola! a harsh enviroment protection for your camera.

I tried using an umbrella but with only two hands, I can't seem to coordinate the use of them enough to take a picture LOL. As a tripod attachment, that would be great!

Alicia, thanks for the link. That waterproof bag looks perfect. Wonder if I can make one out of a ziplock bag...hmmmm :)

Funny, I took too long writing and didn't see your suggestion. I guess I can use a ziplock. Thanks!
