He was in such good condition that I had to set up some "poses" for him before he disintegrated. I was so pleased with how the first one turned out, that I had to share... BTW: Does anyone know if this is a damselfly or a dragonfly (or something else)?

As always, ANY feedback (positive, negative, or in between) is always welcome! I'll repay the favor by leaving comments for you too.

Thanks!

Jimmy

EDIT: Added one last pose with nasturtiums.

I think he be a Dragon...

A search by google produced the following:

The damselfly adult looks much like the dragonfly. However, it can be distinguished by the way it holds its wings when at rest. The dragonfly holds its wings out to the sides when resting, whereas the damselfly holds its wings together above it body.

So he be a dead DragonFly?

That, my friend, is a dragonfly. Damselflies have the delicate, thin body and wings that fold up over the body. Damselflies and Dragonflies and damselflies.

Nice photos, btw!

Spelling edit, -2 pts.

Nice pictures. I found a dead bee with the stinger still intact a few days ago.

Thanks for the clarification everyone! I always get the blue ones confused. ;-) I renamed them from damselfly to dragonfly - and I think I even spelled nasturtiums correctly (but I had to look it up!).

Thanks for the comments - I had fun posing him all over the yard. (Grandma thought I was nuts!)
