Will take place in Fox Lake IL, I will be needing 1 Photographer to take Group Shots Of Dance Teams prior to their performance. Generally 3-4 photos taken of the group a couple serious shots and a couple goofy posed shots of each team. Anyone with A Canon Camera 300D and Up will do especially if you have some experience. A Laptop will be nice if you have one but not required. The date is October 2nd (Sunday) 2005

If you don’t have a canon camera we need one that can auto rotate the images as their taken. So if you are interested and can send be a sample photo, auto rotated in portrait mode email me the sample to services@nationaleventphotography.com

Ill give more details as the event approaches to anyone interested.

Oh yea, the sample can be a photo of anything, we just need to test the image on our kiosks to see if it can be manipulated Correctly

Wish I could help - I do a lot of event photography, but I'm about a six hour drive from Fox Lake. At any rate, I can bump the thread for ya! :) Good luck!

I know someone in the area who owns a 1Ds Mark II. Is this a paid gig?

of course its paid... hehehe rather a simple days work aranging girls as they finish warmups getting a series of group photos and either shooting teathered thru a network of via card and downloading them several times during the day, wil be a real laid back day, we will also provide the strobes and backdrop so a weeee bit of experience will be helpful, we'll help get you acclimated and set up before the event, plus you'll be able to see what sells in real time viewing your work on the kiosks

What kind of hours will this entail?

Very interested, my level of experience isn't terribly high but I am totally up to it and a quick learner.

I don't have the exact specifics on the hours but looking at the roster My guess is from about 10:00 AM till 8:00 PM give or take. Experience will help but because you'll have time between groups you will be able to line th girls up smaller in front to taller in back... group sizes will vary from 4-5 to upwards of 20 per group.

Do you have any size requirements for the email photo attachments? JPEG, I assume?

if your shooting with a 20D you'll be fine.. Our primary concerne is that certain EXIF data is contained in the file you shoot, with your 20D you have the auto rotate feature so it generates the exif data if you like send me a sample shot of anything in portrait mode with the auto rotate on... Ill place it on the Kiosk and see if it generates the thumbs in the correct fashion If so your good to go.

Yea, JPG medium2 will be fine
