The CD I just played is one I burned a while back with Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Erykah Badu, Norah Jones, Rickie Lee Jones, Sass Jordan, and Sophie B. Hawkins. Good stuff. :)

I'm constantly listening to music, can't stand the silence.
Some of the albums that are in heavy rotation lately:
The Deadly Snakes - Porcella (whiskey drenched classic)
Reigning Sound - Time Bomb Highschool (easily one of the best rock albums of this decade)
Ween - Shinola Vol. 1 (to keep the weirdo in me happy)
Hackensaw Boys - Keep it Simple (refreshing bluegrass)
The Gourds - Shinebox (the country cover of Snoop Dogg's Gin & Juice is one everyone should hear, but the Gourds have so much more up their sleeve)
Hot Snakes - Audit in Progress (the fastest downstroke action ever recorded)
Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown (RIP) - Alright Again!
Dirtbombs - If You Don't Already, Have a Look (their cover of the Stones' No Expectations is sheer brilliance!)
XTC - Fossil Fuel (first musical love conveniently fit in two cd's)
Yann Tiersen - Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (a soundtrack that completely stands on its own) |

I did two, Pedro type montages with the songs "At Last", Etta James and "Take A Walk On The Wild Side", Lou Reed.
I've listened to each tune about a hundred times a piece at this point.
Talk about voices inside of your head..................WOW! |
