I believe Hocking is in Logan County. Do a search for Hocking Hills. |

I would still be interested in meeting up at Hocking. Is anyone else available during the week, or are we looking at just weekends? It's much more crowded there during the weekends, but it can work.
I think October 14-15 or the following weekend 21-22 would work for me. My sister and I went last year in the fall. Here's a link to some of the photos:

It's hard to make the call for which weekend will likely give better fall colors. If I was a betting person, I'd say more likely the later weekend. I don't see much change at all going on yet, although that location is a little farther north.
Here's a good website to tell you a bit more about it.

Perhaps we could go Friday for those who can make it, and again on Saturday for those who can only do the weekend? We stayed at a relatively inexpensive hotel last year. I'd be happy to look into making some plans if anyone is interested.
Just about all the nature areas have a fair number of steps. They aren't too far from parking areas generally, but do have the steps and some have narrow areas to walk. I am overweight, and did okay. My sis has knee problems and with her brace she did alright taking our time.
I think I will probably be planning to go anyway. If anyone wants me to plan something, just let me know. If anyone else wants to plan...that's cool too! I don't wanna take anyone's ideas....just making the offer. |

So, of course, after I made the last post I figured I should check my schedule. Both the weekends of the 15th and the 22nd are out for me. I probably won't get out there until the last weekend in October. |

well, I think hocking hills would be great. I went over there a couple of weekends ago with my granparents. it's a beautiful place. I know there is going to be a pumpkin festival somewhere in that area soon. I think someone needs to just say we are doing it on this date, meeting here at this time kind of thing. I'm to young to make these decisions no one would do it my way so someone just tell me what to do. |

if it were during the week it'd have to be in the afternoon; my last lass is at 11:35 AM, but I'm also up on the NW corner of Columbus in Powell (I live in Delaware County), so Hocking is pretty much the other side of town for me. |
