My favourite subject recently!
Took this one from a moving car using my little Konica. know it's not perfect but I like it!
Just cropped and sharpened and resized.

2 views of the same cloud (more or less, it kept changing). Note the 5 birds in the tele shot :-)

I like this Challenge suggestion. It has been suggested quite a few times, here are just two of several other threads; Clouds?! and Clouds.

The only thing I would add is that "Clouds must be the dominant feature / subject in your shot. Clouds must fill at least 80% of the frame". Also, I agree that I would like to see it as a basic editing Challenge, not a 'dodge and burn exercise'.

Yes, it was actually this color!! Its rare when it happens here but it does. I think it has to do with the slight inversion combined with dust and temperature too.

OK. I cheated and did some spot editing -- but not much. This is the Friars' Wing of Mission Santa Barbara taken from the former St. Anthony's Seminary.

Not the most interesting foreground, but the clouds were just so cool!! This was a few days ago at the Georgia GTG.

Shot this for the Lighting II challenge last spring but decided not to enter it.

Took this for the landscape challenge. It did pretty well.

This has got to be one of my favorite images taken, and it wasn't for a challenge or anything. It is definitely the favorite amongst photographers on this site also from my portfolio, according to the favorites numbers.

I love the clouds in this shot, took it really quick out of the window of my truck pulling out of my neighborhood.
