I am a photo student. I've been asked to shooting a few exterior shots of buildings (Commercial /Residental) for a client. This being my first time, I want to ensure I get the shots he requires. Can any one suggests questions to ask my client so that i can get a better understanding of what his goal is with these pictures? |

I can't help you with the questions to ask however the mentorship thread on architecture may help and I'm sure the mentor would be more than welcome to answer any questions if you send them a PM.

Reference dpc-architecture in subject line
I'm a retired architectural photographer, ran my own studio for 25 years.
Robt.
PS: as for questions to ask, I need to know the client's relationship to the projects and the use s/he will be making of the images. Architect/builder/landlord/real estate agent/whatever?
