First off, I'd like to apologize for the misspelled title, I must've been overtaken by The Sillies.

I'd like to claim a "success" for my new record-low scoring entry by way of comments received, which I'm counting as a rcord highest ever for me. (Another entry had a few more comments, but that was during a commenting initiative by the SC, so I'm not counting it.)

I was surprised at the score distribution, though. I was expecting a more bi-modal graph, as I figured people would either love it or hate it. I was hoping to illicit anything but the indifferent fives with this experiment, so it's not a success in that respect. But pretty successful in the comments department, nonetheless.

I loved all the comments, & thanks to all commentors!

The funny thing is, it looks like you didn't puke until post-processing. Amazing

i think a different angle or perspective would have helped you achieve what you were after. like, maybe if you had opened its mouth and shot from the back through to the front...

Now THAT's gross, LOL! I didn't even want to poke that head with a stick. I must have been baking out in the sun all day. :-P

I was totaly diggin that entry. Gave it a 6, in fact. Musta caught me while I going through my anti-sharp-bug-flower-droplet voting phase.

It certainly was, "up close and personal"

Hehe, well, I have been away for four days of camping on Lake Huron. Got some nice photos too, but have only uploaded one to my portfolio so far.

Four days without high-speed internet really gives me the jitters!

Wow! :) I guess Lake Huron was the place to be! :) I was there too, on the Mackinaw City side. Were you in the US, or on the Canadian side?

All I gotta say is I used to LOVE that song.... don't ask why, I just did. My sister and I used to sing it all the time. (we were easily amused... ok I still am, and so is she)

I was at The Pinery Provincial Park, in Canada, just south of Grand Bend.
