Hey everyone. i recently did a photomanipulation and thought it would be nice to get some critique on this. please take a look at it here : //lucs-pics.blogspot.com/2005/07/fire-girl.html
all the info about pictures used and all that is there too.

I love the image. You did an amazing job, particularly with her eyes, which are haunting. I would really like to see it without the line separating the frame, or perhaps with a black line instead.

Yeah, I love the eyes too, they're what first made me think 'wow!' you know?
The whole thing is very nice!

Very cool, excellent work, but creepy at the same time...mimes and clowns just really freak me out. ;)

Don't care for it myself. Feel it crosses the line between photography and digital art....

I agree. Touchups, minor changes creating moods etc.

But a complete makeover certainly not my liking.

Subtle changes that leave you wondering, is this real, are striking.

Once you reach the hmmm yes its been changed somehow looses it for me.

I like them both a lot, as for "crossing the line" who cares everyones "line" is different. What they both are is good art which used photography.

wow thanks everyone for all that feedback. what ive learned from this:
1. The eyes are important
2. Try and keep photomanipulations as realistic as possible except if your planning on something crazy.
