Have you used your F717 much yet??? Please let us know how you like it as compared to your F707!

Congrats on the new camera... Were you using the F707 before you got the 717? If so, i would like to hear why you decided to upgrade... :)

On the camera select page, if you don't see your camera, you can suggest a new camera for the database. I've added the F717 to the database.

Drew That's weird. My home page shows last post on this thread as by Clubjuggle 3 minutes ago but when I view it the latest I see is yours, above. Weird! Kavey

I used F-505V before, and was waiting for 717 to come out. It's great, I am hoping to post an image sometime on Sunday. It has a lot of features the 707 doesn't have (see review on Digital Preview). In particular I find the live historgam very useful during compositon.
It lacks some features such as B&W mode, and you can not disable digital zoom; however I am managing to work-around these issues.

I had already looked at the comparison on dpreview... I agree that there are some features, and upgrading from the 505 is probalby a great idea. I can't quite justify spending $1k to upgrade from the 707 though. I think I will keep the 707 for another year and upgrade my 35mm equiment instead :)

That's because I posted a reply to the question just after Drew did. Since he had already answered the user's question and his was a better answer, I hid my own post.

I personally am planning to upgrade to the new Kodak DCS-14n in December/January.
