o.k i 've had an unsharp day.... it was a very over cast day, with the sun showing every now and then, does using a polariser decrease the sharpness through the lens... just seem to be nearly every photo i took today wasn't their normal sharp quailty.... anybody got any thoughts or suggestions or ideas?.. would be greatly appreciated....

The polarizer may have slowed your shutter speed enough to have camera shake present in the images if it was overcast.

Most polarizers will cost you at least 2 stops of light. If you are shooting in a situation where you would normally get a 1/250" shutter speed, adding the polarizer would reduce that to about 1/60". Check the shutter speeds on your photos and see where they fall to determine if this could have been your problem.
