I am looking for feedback, critiques, comments, whatever. This was my first time using light painting, and I had a lot of fun doing it. Thanks.

It looks ok although not sure about her expression/pose. It looks like she's squinting pretty hard, which overall makes her appear a little uncomfortable. The chair seems pretty battered so it may have been that you wanted the tension in the shot. I guess it depends on what your intention with the shot was. |

I think this is a good start. My mind's eye wants to see the warmth of the light you were painting with though. If it was a standard flash light, the yellow incandescent glow of that (in the camera's eye) would be quite interesting.

I think not enough energy was put in model direction and in posture, as for the light, well that too needs some tweaking as the lesser important ares seem at the edge of blooming (the leg) and the light fades in the ereas of interest. |
