In the spirit of post your best shot....

Post your best shot at the highest ISO setting of your camera!

Just curious how many people have found it useful! I've been shooting samples at 1600 on my new XT. Not bad!

btw, I tend to use these high ISO's a lot while i'm at the races which has been every friday this summer. Also when i've done theatre work it's fabulous, but i only have examples of ISO 800 with that.

Not the greatest shot, not close enough to the action, but it's an example of the 10D at 1600 with no neat image or anything like that applied. This was with the Tamron 28-75.

I shoot indoor sports a LOT at ISO 1600 - it's invaluable.

Not the best...but the only one I can find online!

Aperture: f/11
ISO: 1600
Shutter: 1/60 sec.

All images were at 1600 - just comped together.

iso 3200 1/4000 sec
at the higher resolution you can pick out the individual wings on the midges.

Damn Canon braggers! You know those high ISO's are our weak point.
