The Dallas Zoo photo contest is underway, and the State Fair of Texas contest entries are due by August 4. Just thought I'd give a reminder/heads up to you other locals who might want to enter! :o)

Thanks for the headsup...I'm planning on entering this years State Fair contest. I know that the competition is super...but at least I can get an honorable mention just for entering! LOL

bumpity bump...and also, I received notice of a Dallas Zoo Photo Safari on October 1 where you can go before the park opens and the staff photog takes other photogs on a guided tour during the animals' morning feedings/release and it's supposed to be an incredible opportunity for photos. If interested, PM me and I'll send you the email/phone for you to get the registration info. :o)
