I have been struggling with some of my digital images when viewed with Internet Explorer. When I use PhotoShop or any other software to set the brightness/darkness of a digital photo, it always displays darker when viewing it in IE. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a correction for it?

I've had that problem off and on. First, is your monitor calibrated? If not, do it (there's a helpful thread on the Q&A forum). If it is, you'll need to get used to adjusting the gamma to about 1.1 to make up the difference. You can always leave the image open in Photoshop, then upload the "save for web" copy to the site to check how it looks. If it's still too dark, just tweak and try again.
