| Well done to all, there are some great bird shots. I didn't participate in this challenge, the birds I know wouldn't sign the model release forms, but I've just been voting and there are some really cool shots. |

I have to agree with you... There are some SPECTACULAR shots in this series. Makes me feel inadequate even with my best score ever. LOL Still, I'm glad I entered and I'm very grateful for the comments I've received - regardless of my final finish. I think (personally) that I can say that I've crossed a plateau in my own quality of entries, and I only have DPC to thank for it! I'm just excited that my entry is continuing to do well (in my own terms & definition) and that I think I'm "starting" to tune in to what voters really want to see - albeit, it evidently doesn't always veer toward the most technically advanced shot. :-)

I agree completely.
I was just about to start a thread when I saw this one.
These are some of the best bird shots I have seen.

i have to disagree with you all.. most birdshooters her have much better birdshots i their portfolio, I know my birdshot in the beauty challenge is much better then the one I entered in the Bird challenge, I just didn't get any good birdshots that week, even though I went on a birdhunt for 4 hours every day of the submit limit.
if the bird challenge would have been 1-2 weeks earlier then I would have had some really good shots for the challenge :) |

| Of my top 12 picks, only one was domestic/zoo, to me that's excellent for wild bird shooting is so much harder. I'm really picky on ornithological shots too. |
