The picture just has to be visually, grabbing, stimulating or pleasing and win on that merit.
We do have an option of creating an interesting title that may help people understand your intent better.

I didn't mean to upset anyone over discussion of my own photo in the current challenge. I have not revealed which specific photo belongs to me. And, in fact, I am speaking of a general issue which is a byproduct of the challenge process.

I agree that the photo must be all of those compelling things. My simple statement was that I believe my photo has the potential of having its "grabbing, stimulating, or pleasing" nature diluted by the coincidental occurrence of many of a similar type.

To be honest, I'm not particularly pleased with my shot at all, but I do think that, singularly, it has some merit.

Sistine Chapel: Illegal dimensions
Moonrise, Hernandez, Ansel Adams: DQ for spot editing
Edward Weston, Peppers #30: Too much colour manipulation

Try www.google.com and search for them, in the 'Images' section
of the search engine. You may want to switch on 'safe searches'
to minmise any nudity/ porn.

ROFL!!!!! John that's hilarious!

And "Son of Man" was Magritte, unless your're talking about my rendition.

Terry, your version of Magritte's Son of Man was stupendous. I love Magritte and I thoughroughly enjoyed your homage.
