I've been working on the whole "eyes" thing and I think these are improvements from yesterday. Any comments? Thank you!

Hi JC,
Are you going for the High Key look? The photograph looks good but even in a high key photograph we need not lose detail (eyelashes, color, and shadows to a degree). I believe it is good but I'm distracted by the reflection on the right side of the pupil and eye color. I don't know the story behind the picture so I don't know what you are trying to achieve but that is just a few things I see. The eye is someting, to me atleast, that is very hard to take a picture of and post process with sucess. So I believe you are doing a good job.

Thanks Scott! Not exactly sure what I was going for - LOL, but High Key was certainly in that nebulous realm... Experimenting more than anything. Thanks for the feedback!

All comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks to those of you who have commented. I realize that these are not the best shots on the site, but also realize that this is a place to experiment and learn - which is what I'm trying to do. Thanks again - I'm stoked with the comments I've already received - even the negative ones, because that gives me that much more information to improve on the next ones!

Remember though that no matter what other may think of the photos you take...the most important thing is that you take the photos for yourself. Unless of course you plan on selling them. lol Many people have different tastes, and the most important opinion of all is your own.
