Sometimes when I'm on my computer (usually on the net) the monitor will just go into power save mode. Is there a problem with my graphics card (nvidia geforce 3 ti 200)?

You may have a hot-key combo to put it to sleep of which you are unawares. Happened to me. Pissed me off so often I disabled the hotkey for that function. I'd hit it by accident as I typed away erratically.

Robt.

Naw, I don't think that's it. It usually happens in the morning when I turn on my computer. I would go on the net and usually before the homepage would load the monitor will go into power save mode.

I've had this computer checked numerous times for this same exact problem. I was told it maybe a bad hard drive, but I replaced and it still happens. I was also told it maybe a virus or spyware, ran my virus and spyware scan and it's still happening. I even bought a new LCD monitor just in case it actually was the monitor give me the problems, but once again it did nothing to help.

The amount of money I've spend "fixing" this computer I probably could've bought a new one.

In the control panel you should have a section that deals with power management. Have you disabled these options completely?

get the latest ForceWare unified drivers for you Video Adapter (one file works for (almost) all nVid cards) The are up to v70... I check at least once a month for new drivers out there as the are always making them better and faster.

Also make sure that you are on DirectX 9.0c.
