I think he meant he only GAVE 3 10's. (I gave 4, so I'd say he's close, he just missed mine!) ;)

I'm with mag. I just finished voting, and there were several shots that made me go, "Dang, why didn't I do that." I think the overall quality was awesome. Hope people are planning on adding them to DPCPrints.

I think the shots in this challenge are some of the best I've ever seen on this site.

The last challenge that I felt this way about was the Candid challenge.

Or perhaps someone interpreted "multiple images" and "no restrictions on editing" to mean making a composite image from two or more source images...

yes that is what I thought... and that is normal, at least for me... a 10 is pure perfection, even if the idea of a specific photo being pefect is purely subjective... therefore I only give about 1-5 photos per challenge a 10...

I am not the type of guy to say that I am impressed but . .in this case .. I am.

For the overall quality .. I do not know ... for some people it was probably their first try at a tryptique (i never did one and did not submit) and it DOES require some photoshop work (not talking about filters) but just to do the borders and the composition correctly. When you're used to it it's easy but it's not obvious if you have neer done it.

Any way ... it has been a long time since I gave several people above 9 and it's the case here. The one I gave 9 or 10 really impressed me and I left a comment.
There is average shots ... I hope the people will not be discouraged and, like myself, will learn from this. This was , I think, a difficult challenge. And even if they do not involve a lot of photoshop manipulation per se (filters or other) I think that the winner are people who use their software with ease.

I am not reducing their work or anything ( I gave more 9 and 10s than usually !!! and I am not done) , I am just trying to help the people who tried (I did not in that case) , who thought it was hard , no to be discouraged and to continue to try.

I am one of those that has never done this type of composition before.I wasn't going to enter this challenge as I knew it would be very difficult.Funny what you end up doing late at night when you can't sleep! Ended up with some interesting stuff and decided to give it a try.So far,it's getting lots of comments and that's a good thing.Isn't that what's it's all about?

PS..Mavrik..I'm not a "grumpy" monday voter.I look forward to Mondays with a whole different outlook since becomming a member here.LOL.
