Tamron 28-75... run, don't walk... buy it now. You won't regret it. ;o)
OK... maybe I'm still excited from getting mine on Saturday...but still...GO NOW!! GET IT!!!! :O)

If you want lots of zoom, but want sharpness, I thoroughly recommend the Tokina 24-200mm. It's a little on the heavy side, but the quality is top notch. If you look on forums, everyone seems agreed that this lens is a hell of a bargain and very high quality. It's also full frame, so you can use it on your 35mm bodies or still use it in the future if full-frame DSLRs become affordable. On a DSLR, you're guaranteed no vignetting. |
