51. Why does DPC not use a tier system for its challenges. I find that it's so hard to compete against professionals with $10,000 camera systems. Can't something be done about this obvious disparity?
Answer: No. There is no disparity. Plenty of low income members win ribbons. I repeat, there is no disparity. slips the admins a $100

52. I don̢۪t understand why I get so many comments that my photo does not meet the challenge. I include the name of the challenge in the title of every entry. Don̢۪t they read the title before commenting?
Answer: Most DPC’ers can’t read. Try actually making the photo match the challenge. Pictures are worth a thousand words â€Â¦.

53. Why haven't I changed my homepage to DPChallenge.com instead of www.ihaveimportantthingstodo.com
Answer: Because like all other DPC users, my delusion is becoming too thick to see through. And I like the build up that happens between every 30 second viewings.

54. Why is it that every time I post to a forum thread, someone says that that point has already been posted earlier in the thread?
Answer: Maybe you should read the damn thread before you post, stupid!

55a. I have tried to Burn my images for challenges.
The burning process makes too much smoke to see what I am doing. Any suggestions?
Answer: A little less propane for starters, and may want to invest in a "Heiða Fan" to keep your eyes free of the smoke.
55b. I have tried to Dodge my images for challenges.
The Dodging process makes me tired running away from them all the time. Any suggestions?
Answer: We have tried to Dodge your images too. No suggestions to offer, other than perhaps taking up a new hobby? |

57. Something at DPC has got me bitter, angry, frustrated or amused. What should I do?
Write a long, sarcastic post about it and watch as the other bitter, angry, frustrated or amused posters join in. Because we ALL hate the same kinds of people - even though some of us are them, we refuse to admit it.

61. My absolutely stunning photograph has been DQ'd during the challenge because the date on my camera was incorrect (and of course, I didn't set it wrong...someone else did!). I'm mad as hell. Can't I submit proof of some sort?
By all means...inundate the SC and D&L with photographs, newspaper scans, articles, reviews, and a written statement from your grandmother, her 2nd cousin, and their best friend's next door neighbor who all saw you take the picture during the alloted challenge dates. The SC and D&L have absolutely nothing better to do anyway than to rifle through all your proof. While you're at it, start a thread complaining about how mistreated you are and how unfair the site is. That earns extra brownie points. ;o)

74. Are borders allowed under basic editing rules in open challenges?
Answer: Yes, the bigger the better. Play your cards right and you can have less than 10 square pixels for your actual picture. Then there is no way that voters can tell you it does not meet the challenge! Take THAT, challenge Nazis!
